Restaurant and Fully Licensed Bar: Open 7 days a week for lunches from 12pm - 2:30pm (Sundays 12:30pm - 4pm). We are open in the evenings (Monday to Saturday evenings) from 6pm – 8:30pm. Please speak to a member of staff if you would like to book a table. We have a selection of meals to choose from using fresh produce which has been grown and bred here on the farm so you can feel safe in knowing where your food comes from. Please note: We ask for guests not to eat their own food at the tables in the restaurant.
The bar is always open, although you may have to ring the bell for service.
Security Gate: The farm has an automatic security gate. The gate will automatically open from 12pm – 2:30pm (Sunday 12:30pm - 4pm). Outside of these times, please press the silver button on the keypad to activate the intercom to speak to our staff. If you are staying for a long period of time please request a gate key for a £10 deposit.
Wheelchair Access: Unfortunately only the ground floor lodges (Hunters, Keepers and Orchard) are accessible by wheelchair and these lodges have standard bathroom fittings. However, a wet room is available in the camping facilities. Please ask for more details.
The restaurant/lounge bar are also accessible via wheelchair, but have standard toilet facilities.
Children: We regret that we no longer allow children under the age of 10 in the restaurant, B&B, self-catering or on the campsite. This is for several reasons including safety and noise issues. The only time we accept children is when the booking is for the whole restaurant or the booking is for all the B&B and self-catering lodges and the restaurant.
Dogs: Because we are a working farm with livestock and farm machinery, all dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and you must always clean up after them. There are bins near the campsite to dispose of dog mess. Dogs are not allowed in the B&B accommodation but are allowed on the campsite and in self-catering accommodation. We must be made aware that you have a dog at the time of booking. For self-catering accommodation we charge an additional cleaning charge of £2.50 for pets.
Farmhouse Breakfast: For Self-Catering and Campsite guests, Breakfast is available in the farmhouse at a cost of £10 per person. The breakfast must be pre-booked and consists of: tea, coffee, fruit juices, cereals, fresh fruit, toast with homemade jams and marmalades, and a choice of cooked breakfast.
Taxi Service: For information on pricing for taxi services to and from the farm, please click here.
Farm animals: We are a working farm and are very proud of our livestock. We do allow accommodation and restaurant guests to walk around certain areas of our farm to see the animals. However we would request you speak with a member of staff first so that they will be able to advise you where best to go and perhaps show you around the barn.
Please note that no-one is allowed to go into the paddocks with the animals and be warned that some of the fencing is electric.
Seasonal Farm Shop: Selling a selection of produce from the farm such as sausages, honey, cakes, jams, pies, pasties and much more. Please contact us if you require any further information. The Farm Shop is currently (March 13) closed but will be open soon.
