Our 500 year old, Grade II listed Tudor Farmhouse is set amid 38 acres of breathtaking Oxfordshire countryside with views over the Bernwood Forest. It sits with a selection of cottages and stabling around the large central courtyard.

The farmhouse has five large B&B bedrooms and three large reception rooms, two of which have log-burners. Beams and welcoming fireplaces give an abundance of character, with the kitchen being the former dairy of this historic working farm.

Bed and Breakfast

Our Bed and Breakfast rooms are located in the main farmhouse and are full of characterful features along with all the facilities you would expect such as en suite toilet and shower, TV, Wi Fi, tea making facilities, hair dryer and fully-stocked welcome tray.

As for our breakfasts, well... they are becoming legendary! All eggs are produced by our own CLF rare breed, free range hens and our sausages are home-produced rare breed CLF Pork.

Our bread is locally produced by the fantastic Cornfield bakery and, where possible, all other ingredients are locally sourced or produced, free-range or organic. Our breakfast selection caters for all tastes and appetites – from fresh fruit and yogurt, toast and home-made conserves to a hearty full English!

Farmhouse Restaurant

We are renowned for our traditional English cuisine, cooked by your landlady Allie Cherry. She has a passion for creating new dishes and recipes and she loves to try and fulfil everyone’s requirements.

Allie has had a love of cooking from a very early age and is passionate about using locally grown and sourced quality ingredients. As we move towards greater self sufficiency at the farm, more and more of our menu is created with home-produced meat from our rare breed animals – so we not only can produce ethically sourced and sustainable food, but food which is truly delicious!

Most of our food is cooked in our beloved Aga. We take pride in the fact that we don’t produce fast food – but fresh food as fast as we can!

Party Venue

We are able to provide a unique venue for parties and other celebrations including birthdays, wedding receptions and anniversaries, christenings, wakes and even corporate team building days.

Our large landscaped garden and terrace area provides the perfect setting for our famous BBQs and speciality Hog roasts with room for a marquee for larger parties and wedding receptions.

We've catered for weddings of over 100 guests enjoying champagne and Pimms in our picturesque courtyard, followed by a sit-down buffet, evening hog roast, live band and dancing into the wee small hours.

Whatever your event we are happy to discuss your specific requirements and will do all we can to make your day special.

Whether you are looking for a relaxing afternoon with cream tea, a holiday or wedding reception, corporate entertainment or location for a film or photographic shoot, our house, farm grounds and our service won't disappoint you.
