We are renowned for our traditional English cuisine, cooked by Allie Cherry. She has a passion for creating new dishes and recipes and she loves to try and fulfill everyone's requirements. Allie has had a love of cooking from a very early age and is passionate about using locally grown and sourced quality ingredients. As we move towards greater self sufficiency at the farm, more and more of our menu is created with home-produced meat from our rare-breed animals – so we not only can produce ethically sourced and sustainable food, but food which is truly delicious!
Most of our food is cooked in our beloved Aga. We take pride in the fact that we don't produce fast food – but fresh food as fast as we can!
Relax in our comfortable bar/ lounge to make your selection from our wide and ever changing menu before being seated at your table in our farmhouse dining room. We also pride ourselves on offering a great selection of beers from the Vale Brewery, an extensive wine list and a vast selection of other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
Evening meals are available Monday – Saturday on a pre-booked basis.
The range of food on offer is wide and varied. From A La Carte to homemade scones, our Aga produces perfect freshly baked baguettes with a wide selection of fillings.
Allie's Sunday roasts are renowned for the succulent, tasty, local meats and fresh vegetables served with all the accompaniments. As our roasts are so popular, it's essential to book!
